Food was great as always! Service was excellent and extremely friendly! As always they made me like family! Best food i ever ordered to go! Always seems like a home cooked meal! I always enjoy the great feeling i receive when sitting at the lounge waiting for my dinner. This restaurant is like no other! Thanks Kristy's! I'll be back " lol.
I can't believe there are negative reviews here. My wife, son & I had breakfast here while traveling in NJ. This was one of the best breakfasts we ever had! Everything was delicious and hot. Service was friendly and fast. The prices were quite reasonable. I wished we lived closer so we could go here more often!
the stuffed flounder is delicious! especsilly with the string beans and carrots . the atmosp is friendly and clean and the service is great as well. five stars
Wife and I stopped in and I ordered the French onion soup. Very flavorful. My wife got the soup of the day Manhattan clam chowder. She said it was really good. I ordered the rueben special and it was delicious. She got the turkey wrap and that was good.
Waitresses go above and beyond. Food is always consistent and very good. You can't go wrong with any entree or dessert at Kristy's. I had the Reuben panini and it's a huge portion with a lot of pastrami. Very lean and yummy! My mom had a tuna melt and loved it. We ended with a HUGE slice of cannoli cheesecake which is equivalent to 2 helpings. I can't wait to go back!
I absolutely LOVE Kristys diner and everything is always packaged w loved and cared and that really does mean a lot to me after a long day that the restaurant that I just spend a ___ amount of amount of money isn't behaving like all other services ; upping their prices and slashing their services with it . The food is delightful honestly and it feels like home cooked. The soup is so yummy and hits the spot just right !!!!! The Grilled Cheese w bacon is beyond feeling cozy and snuggys. Not too cheesy not too thick of bread. They really do get it just right ! And the sweet potato fry's ?! Mama Mia !!! Out of this world and taste like they were honestly just made. I really love this place and moved to Manahawkin but still go / order from there ALL the time. - will add pics later
What can I say Kristy's is local and a Good diner.The crab cakes Benny is really good! If you can tell by my pictures the portions have definitely gotten a little smaller and it didn't come with toast.I also recommend the Cobb salad or Greek salad or dishes.
1. Service was great. It was friendly, quick and clean. 2. Prices were fair but over all not bad. 3. Food was delicious. I had the short stack pancakes. Delicious and fluffy. My mother had the the lasagna, which came with a soup or salad (she had chicken soup & it was delicious) & bread. The lasagna was very well made and a great size portion.
